1. The puppy is GONE! To another home, I mean, not, like dead or anything awful like that.
2. I got a call about another job, and I’m doing the screening interview next week!
3. I’m going to Seattle this weekend for a Dock Diving competition with my friend and her dog! (Perfect Husband and murder-bots will stay behind).
4. Babby is biting less!
5. I’m finished Breaking Dawn and am deeply grateful for that fact!
…So why do I feel so stressed and anxious??
Yay for the puppy being gone! Just the idea of it was stressing me out. 😉
I’d guess you’re feeling more anxious than usual because a major transition is coming up for your family, and you’re nervy about it. Anyone would be. Sometimes, anxiety & worry just happen. (Mind you, you are keeping up with your meds now, right? Right? Don’t make teh internets mad at you.)
Just keep going, day by day, take care of yourself, and give yourself permission to be worried about what going back to work will mean for all of you. Given time, you will adjust to the new reality – just like you adjusted to being home with wee biter-babby.
That reminds me, I should go take my meds :-p
Re: anxiety: you’re still in a very precarious position, so it seems reasonable to me. On the other hand, I find it’s quite possible to be anxious for no obvious reason. So, I hope you feel better soon. Let me know if I can do anything to help. I know, as random reader maybe not much, but if asked I’ll try. =)
Congrats on getting rid of thew puppy. I can emphasize with the inability to say no against one’s better judgement. It seems to me you did a grand job of reducing the damage, though.
Any employer will be lucky to have you.
I need to be off to my new psychiatrist. Should be fun, it always is. Have a lovely, calm day!
Thanks, you too!
What’s Dock Diving?
Oh yeah. Meant to add a Wikilink to that. Done now.
Huzzah for good things! The anxiety seems normal in the sense that all these changes are occurring, the puppy stress would undoubtedly linger for a few days, and there’s an interview in the works. Be good to yourself.
I think you’re right. I don’t like change!
No advice, but hoping the anxiety goes away. (((hugs)))
Good idea to post the things that you’re happy about when you’re feeling stressed. Hopefully post interview you will feel less stressed.
PS
Would LOVE to hear your thoughts about Breaking Dawn. It was my FAVOURITE. Laughed all the way through and can’t wait to laugh all the way through the movie.
Hey, maybe I’m terrified of giving birth because of Breaking Dawn…
I guarantee you that your baby will not eat her way out of your belly and then bite your booba.
Mine waited nine months for that last bit.
