Ha! That was such a great way to start the day! Babby’s got some funky fresh rhythm. I also loved the extreme close up of the furry snoot. I remember those days. Both our kids loved their jumper. I’m just regretful I never thought to set the video to that music. 😉 Might have to do that now.
I have a (totally non-judgmental, just out of curiosity) question. Can he hit his head on the door frame? The whole time I was watching that, I was super-distracted worrying about him jumping sideways and smacking his head. I’ve never had a kid, and therefore never had a jumper, so I am clearly unfamiliar with their design.
(I swear to whatever that I’m not judging your parenting. On the contrary, I think you’re brilliant and I want to eat your baby because he is so sweet.)
ME TOO!
The audio to all of our videos from the first time we put him in (the time when he’s in the little sports sleeper) full of PH and me worrying out loud 😀
It seems totally possible for him to whack his head, but so far he hasn’t. The Jolly Jumper looks like the most dangerous contraption EVAR, and yet it has been around since before my mother was born and they still haven’t banned it (unlike the walker!). The only real warning pediatricians have about it is that excessive use could damage his walking development or possibly rattle his bones to pieces. So we have to time his time in it and I never take my eyes off of him!
@AshleyS he could hit his head, but it’s unlikely. I’ve seen many babies in Jolly Jumpers. The worst that can happen is a shoulder bump, and usually closer to the weight limit (since the babies are stronger).
Thank you for this! I would put on this exact song when Alex would jump (that and Jump from Kriss Kross). Poor Alex has the stomach flu and your video kept him happy for 15 minutes.
So cute, but my god Carol, how old is he again? Like, five months? You are SO DOOMED. Thank goodness you have a high-energy dog. They can run each other ragged.

He really loves it. He never gets sick of it. We have to time his time in it or he’d be there all the time!

Haha! It is very cute! Nice music and nice move!

Hahaha, we play Jump by Kriss Kross when he’s in it, too!
Thank you for the entertainment! We all enjoyed watching Babby jump. 🙂
I’m glad!
Adorable. 🙂 I have the feeling he could be somewhat…active…as he gets older. 😉
I fear the same…
Frances says “Baby!” Also, I’m guessing that she’s a fan of your music choice – she is bouncing & clapping along… =)
I live to entertain the babbies.
Bouncy baby butt!

Four and a half months. He won’t be five months until Feb 8th!
AWESOME! i love how it sometimes looks like he’s “riverdancing”:)
I know! I seriously considered a highland hornpipe or similar for the background music, but it didn’t fit with the actual jumps as well.
oh my God my ovaries just burst- he’s the cutest thing!!
I was really entertained! Very cute! He really put on a show!

HAH! That’s awesome! And cute. And awesome!
