All I could think of at this point in my pregnancy was whether or not she was going to be born with some kind of birth defect or disease. I’m glad I didn’t have regular access to the internet because I would’ve been looking things up left right and centre and then obsessing over it until she was born, keeping myself up at night and giving myself horrible indigestion because of the stress! Why’d you do that to yourself??!
Well, I had two ultrasounds and things looked okay, so I’m not so worried about that. But I do have difficulty associating the writhing of my insides with an actual baby, so looking up babies born at 30 weeks kind of gives me an idea. The nice thing is that by this time, he actually would have a good chance of survival, so the pictures I’m finding are all of babies who turned out fine – so it doesn’t feel so morbid.
I did it, too. (Well, I looked up “X week fetus” a lot, anyway.) I loved seeing what they looked like at various points. Did it all over again with my second. 🙂
I did the exact same thing 🙂
i would say its kind of more wrong to say it than to do it, but im pretty sensitive to the topic
I think what set it off was realizing that Babby is now the same age as A Little Pregnant Julie’s Charlie was when he was born…
I did it when I was pregnant…
