At the Atlantic Canada Pavilion an Acadian from Fredericton started talking in Franch (you know, not French but NB Franch) on the stage and people stared at her blankly.
I don’t speak much French. I learned Spanish and then joined the Canadian education system in grade 8 and never really got caught up. But I could get the jist of what she was saying, because after enough Franglais, you start to pick things up.
