It’s officially the most depressing day of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least… I’m not sure if the metrics apply to the sunny South).

I found this article very interesting because (even though I’d heard the phrase Blue Monday) I was unaware it related to a SPECIFIC Monday in the year! I actually thought that Mondays were (by definition) Blue unless they happened to be a Public Holiday! Most of my co-workers would like to know who decided that it was “fair” for workers to work for 5 days and have 2 days off per week. I think it would be MILES better for worker morale to work for 4 days and have 3 day weekends!
